Genuine tempo from Chino La Diva leading Just Gifted. Pike stays around to ride HOUSEWIFE (4), who will be tough to beat resuming for the top metro yard. She has plenty of ability and owns a Lark Hill trial win with Pike up. Will likely come back further improved and she looks ready to go. PRAWNS ELEVEN (1) is ex-Hong Kong and immediately impressed in WA when leading and winning easily this grade/trip at Bunbury. Dropped back to 1000m in an Ascot 66 following and worked home evenly. Proved difficult to load in that and since has easily won a Lark Hill trial over 1000m. Maps well and gets in well again with the 3kg claim. A player. CHINO LA DIVA (2) led and folded up here in the main course when well out of the market. Has pieces of form that stack up and the tongue tie is on again. Maps for a soft on-pace run and the 3kg claim brings her into it. JUST GIFTED (7) has the rail and will be around the mark if she puts her best foot forward. SUGGESTED PLAY: Housewife if the betting indicates stable confidence.
