Bad Detective is expected to cross from a wide gate and lead. VOLTAGE POINT (2) has been a bit plain in his last couple of starts but happy to forgive those. He was a dominant winner in stronger grade before that so trust that he can find his best form. The 3kg claim gets him well in at the weights and he's adept on all ground. RICHE D'AMOUR (1) looks the danger. He's on the week back-up after a brilliant win at Murray Bridge. He's got a big weight again but he showed he can carry it. If he's within striking distance, he'll be charging home late. EXTRA HOT (10) and NURYS (6) are a pair of mares that have really come of age this preparation. Both of them have each-way claims if things go their way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Riche D'amour each-way.
