Abundant pace from Dancingtothelight, Laughing William and Commander Of All vying for the lead with Jj's Eagle on their backs. RED AMBER (7) stayed on well at the finish when fourth over 1400m here last start. She is a 2yo filly taking on older horses but she receives her weight allowance. Gavin Lerena rides from a good draw of four and she should give the males a decent run for their money. ALABAMA ANNA (3) ran a decent race when third of 17 over 1200m at the Vaal last time when sent out at long odds. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should go close. AFTER HOURS (5) went a bold race to finish third last start and has solid each-way claims in this line-up. CHIEFTAIN'S SHIELD (6) recorded a strong maiden win over 1400m at this track last time out after having placed in all of his last four starts. Jumping from an inside draw can go back-to-back.
