Plenty of pace from Twoexcel, Plume and Russian Words primarily. PLUME (4) debut performance had merit when a close-up fourth at Kembla Grange. At the latest run she engaged in an early speed battle with a tiring fifth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Should handle the sting out of the ground in what looks a very average contest. THE WAY AHEAD (5) fourth-up for this and shapes as the main danger from the low draw. Covered a stack of ground early from the wide gate with a fading third over 1000m at Kembla Grange after being prominent at the bend. Map suits today and sure to be thereabouts. TWOEXCEL (9) locally trained filly who returns for her second campaign. Expected to have strengthened over the break and the two good trials suggest she's primed for this. Blinkers off and drawn to advantage. BIFURCATION (6) Pariah filly who also comes back for her second prep. Showed ability last September and returns with the good 1000m trial win at Wyong. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Plume brings the right figures to get off the mark.
