Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Lord Power, Irish Gift and Rising Ruby prominent. CHARGIN' (3) returning from a break at Home Hill, finishing third and only 0.9 lengths from the winner at the end of 1000m. He's much improved and jumps from the inside barrier. Has Morrison aboard today and has the ability to test this field. LORD POWER (4) also resumed improved beaten a half-length this track/trip racing forward. Drawn inside again and may control the race. Swaffer stays aboard and he's sure to give a big sight. THREEBROTHERS (2) didn't have the best of it in the same contest but was within range at Townsville the two before. He will hit the line and get some of the money. CULLIVEL (5) was beaten 2.5L in that race, showing better form. Finds it hard to win but she goes into the trifectas at least. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Chargin'.
