BOLD AND BLAZEN (1) massive drop in grade third-up after fading in the straight to finish eighth to Octa De Lago over 1400m at Hawkesbury in the Provincial Mid Champs. Cherry-ripe now and is a great chance to break through at this level. MAGICAL MOMENTS (4) talented mare who looks set for a good prep. Had the race parcelled up a long way out with a slick 3.5 len victory over 1400m at Kembla Grange. Ready for this level and adept in all conditions. Maps well and looks the main danger. DUCK FOR COVER (2) was a determined Maiden winner at his second race start with a tough on-pace head victory over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Finds a fairly average contest and sure to be thereabouts. PICCADERRO (3) in career-best form with the two wins this time in. Jumps in class for this after carrying the 59kg from the wide gate for a determined win over this trip at Taree. Expected to race closer from the inside gate and not without genuine winning claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bold And Brazen will take stopping at this level.
