Garrix, Stand My Ground and Purple Haze can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. CRUSADER VOYAGE (4) progressive gelding unlucky not to have already shed his Maiden tag. Unsuited first-up with a plugging third over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Ready for this trip and further now and assess on his narrow second to O'Sheamus in a Super Maiden last October at Warwick Farm. Go close from the awkward gate. VALENTIAGO (10) is racing well and a win looks imminent. Bounced off his sound second at Goulburn, with a fighting fourth in a small field over this trip at Wyong. Has a fitness edge over the main chances from the good gate. MOORDYUP (11) blinkers go on fourth-up after she launched late from back in the field with a sound second over this track and trip. Drawn out and no surprise to see her finish over the top of them. SCOOP THE POOL (8) improving gelding who will appreciate the blinkers going on. Closed strongly on his return with a respectable second over 1400m at Scone. Looking for this trip and further and will be ridden for luck from the wide gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,10,11,8.
