BABY QUEST (1) is a promising type who scored at his last run before a break three-and-a-half months ago over 1200m at Ohi. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in two starts. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Expected to be in the finish. BARBA LION (3) was prominent throughout when winning fresh over 1200m at Ohi. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Expecting a bold showing. GROOVIN (5) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by 4 lengths when resuming last time out over 1500m at Urawa. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. DENTE BRILLANTE (4) was safely held when ninth last time out over 1800m at Ohi, beaten 10 lengths, after a win at Ohi at the previous outing. Nicely placed to figure in the finish.
