Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Gavin, Maravich and Skorpios Isle to control the tempo. CAVARETTA (9) resumed over a sprint at Ipswich and defied the market, beaten just 1.4L. The step up to the mile suits and she has more to give. Mallyon will jump her from an inside barrier and she should go close. Waller-trained stablemate EMPIRE OF ART (4) resumes for the same yard and has raced well in stronger than this. The 1650m should be a positive starting point and KWT sticks from his latest start.
