MEINER ODESSA (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 1650m at this track after being prominent at the turn. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. YOSHI ICHI (1) started at $2.60 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best. Finds a nice race and can make amends. RICK MARVEL (3) drifted back over 1800m here last time before winding up late. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
