Shere Khan should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. SHERE KHAN (3) ran his best race, leading and winning here this grade and trip on a heavy track. Draws low again and with rain around is likely to get similar conditions. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. SUPER TWENTY THREE (1) has had one blip in a string of solid efforts and he didn't do a bad job at Townsville last time, making up ground after settling last from the 14 barrier. Draws inside today and 3x winning rider Wiggins is reunited. Has to be considered. COPPABELLA ROAD (2) comes out of the SK race beaten 2.5L. Draws awkwardly again, but will push forward and make a place in this lineup. BRAVE EDDY (5) resumes and is a leader who goes okay on the fresh side. Maps well and has the ability. The betting will be key. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Shere Khan.
