Expecting Dubonnet Rouge to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. NOVELETTE (10) finished fourth as the favourite at Riccarton just over 5 weeks ago, following on from a third there in January. She will be getting stronger all the time, and with the aid of a 1kg claim, she looks well placed to take this out. EMERGING MISS (9) made progress in her initial prep in the spring and will be a lot stronger this year. A recent second-place finish in a trial on this course will have her ready to rumble fresh. Check the market. QUEEN OF THE STARS (5) will be resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good. She has shown talent at the trials, and is well worth some each-way consideration, especially if there is any early money for her. VOLATILE (2) was well beaten when making his debut off a wide gate here nearly 3 weeks ago. He has a far superior gate this time, and Tina Comignaghi keeps the faith. Stick with him. TUSSAR (1) ran his best race yet when finishing third on this track last time out. he is peaking at the right time. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Novelette can win this, and Volatile is worth including at a price.
