Moderate pace with Come On Mr Snips taking up the running ahead of Razor's Magic and Concador. EMPRESS ASPEN (12) is in the premier metro stable and will be better for her two starts in tougher city races. Has a 1.5kg claim and the step up to the mile should suit. Will be tough to beat in country grade. HOT MISS (9) settled well back in the field and impressed, beaten just 1L over 1400m at the Gold Coast first-up. Enjoyed the switch from the stable's Victorian yard and is back on track. Has a low gate and the 1650m looks ideal now. A threat. FLOP SHOT (6) resumed over 1400m at the Gold Coast and did a good job to finish so close. Has more up his sleeve and maps well. Has claims as well. OAKFIELD GALAXY (3) brings a string of placings and just missed over 1700m at Ipswich last time. Draws the outside barrier, but can he feature with average luck. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Empress Aspen.
