Not disgraced last time out when third over 1500m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. MALTESE VELOZ (7) returns after nine months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. HOYO MOON (1) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 1500m at Kawasaki, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. EXMEDI NO KISEKI (4) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second over 2000m at Urawa last time out. Should park just off the speed. Can feature in the finish.
