SAMBA FLAVOR (3) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at today's track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Likely to be there at the finish again. YUYU STARRY (7) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the corner at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths starting at $3.70. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. MARUYO SOTA (4) was an impressive winner last time over 1600m at this track. Drifted back on that occasion then stoked up impressively to score by 3 lengths. Watch for him running on late again. JWEIR (5) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in second over 1650m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
