GOING: S(5)

Porterhouse & Pot Thursday Nights Sporties Hotel Maiden/Class 1 1600m

Track: SOFT 5   Rain (Max: 13)   Rail: Out 2m Entire. (Pent: 4.72).

Moderate pace with Rocheaux taking up the running ahead of Dynamic Deel and Launnie Nights. ROWING POWER (6) was narrowly beaten at Hobart and then again on the synthetic over this distance. Keeps improving and is ready to win. DYNAMIC DEEL (1) has threatened x4 on the synthetic since the switch from a Victorian barn. Is still shy of his turf peak and Newitt sticks aboard. A chance with average luck from the awkward barrier. LAUNNIE NIGHTS (4) just missed at Devonport in the Rowing Power race and peaks for this. Has the rail and 2kg claim and is in the mix. PINANDI (9) has more to give but the outside barrier makes it tough. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Rowing Power.
