Local greybeard GORUSH LIGHTNING (7) got within a length of the winner in a BM74 over this course and distance recently. Has outstanding five-furlong stats at this circuit. Can never be ruled out. FOURTH SPARGO (4) was narrowly beaten here at this trip last time out, her ninth top three finish from ten career starts. Difficult to knock.
