Although a few sit handy there won't be a great deal of early pressure. FOREST GATE (10) broke through for his maiden win over 1800m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Breaks from a wide alley but he can go on with it. RETRO TYPE (5) settled at the rear then stoked up nicely in the straight to finish fourth over 1400m here last time. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. VELVET HAMMER (7) missed the frame two back in tougher company then relished the easier contest last time when second over 1800m at this track. Well placed and among the leading players. PUNTA CANA (3) was far from disgraced to finish 1.5 lengths away in third last start over 1600m at this track after a win the run prior. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
