Scored over 1500m at this track to launch the last campaign. Capable of playing a major role. ICE MAN (2) showed good speed over 1700m at this track and led throughout to score. Winning jockey stays aboard and is a leading contender. CARLE POMELO (3) started at $6.20 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth at this track over 1400m. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. PLAUSUS (8) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only seventh over 1700m at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. Must be respected.
