Genuine tempo with the speedy Presto Stella and Sakki Mitsugu matching motors. SHARP MUSTANG (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and sat just off the lead, eventually drawing away to score by a nose over 1400m at this track. Yoichi Ando has been the pilot at his last four wins. Sure to play a big role. PRESTO STELLA (3) was far from disgraced when fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Nicely placed to take this out. PYRO BEAM (9) missed the placings first up recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 1600m at this track. Has never been out of the placings at this stage of the prep. Among the winning hopes. BONIFACIO (2) is a last-start winner three weeks ago, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 1600m at this track. One of the main contenders.
