The pace looks strong from the outset. LAMENTUM (7) belted the Yeppoon Maidens by 6.3L and then found one better at Mackay in stronger than this. On a 6-day return and will carry just 53kg after the claim. Rates clear and can bounce back. TOUR DE FIELD (3) settled back off a wide gate and picked up nicely to place here in a 55 first up. He's been kept fresh and Wiggins is a key jockey switch. He has more to give and can form the quinella. SEISME (4) led and folded up over a longer sprint at Mackay but he placed there prior over this distance. That would have him in the mix. MISS DE BOOM (8) resumes and Stanley's booking interests. Needs to have found more but is worth a betting watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Lamentum to win.
