A keen early contest with Dempsey Girl and Sheer Grunt leading from O'caldino. CRAFTY BOSS (2) is a long-time maiden gelding who has gone close to winning on occasion and was beaten by a neck here 11 days ago. He can be a touch one-paced and the highweight class here should suit him. He has a superior gate to us this time and could have his day in the sun this time. O'CALDINO (4) will be suited by the step up to 2000m for the first time and is still part of the Ciaron Maher stable which is encouraging. Stick with him on an each-way basis. EYES TO ME (3) is a locally trained gelding that will strip fitter after finishing fourth fresh-up at Hamilton 18 days ago. The extra 400m is ideal and he should go close to taking this out. DEMPSEY GIRL (7) ran her best race yet on this track just over 3 weeks ago when finishing second and less than 2 lengths from the winner. She has a better draw this time and it would not be a big surprise to see her go one better. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eyes To Me each-way.
