She stayed on well when third over 1200m at the Vaal last time. She steps up to 1400m and Gavin Lerena retains the ride. She has scope and she may be the one to side with. DAISY JONES (11) produced an encouraging debut effort over 1500m on the Vaal Classic course last start. She was slowly into stride, raced green but stayed on well at the finish. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should throw out a big challenge to the top selection. HOLLYWOOD MADAM (8) is better than her last start run would suggest as she was reported to be not striding out. She returns from a spell which may have done her the world of good. She tries the blinkers and if not in need of the outing, she can improve to finish in the placings. GREEN STREET (1) produced a typical second run after a rest last time. She is having her peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. She should be finishing in the money
