Ali Eterne to take up the running at a moderate tempo. ALI ETERNE (10) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start. That continued the good form having won three back at this track and trip. Tricky draw to overcome but does have good gate speed. Looks well placed so expect another big run. COSMO IVY (3) improved sharply to win over 1500m at this track a week ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so could go back-to-back. GRAF (2) has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when third over 1500m at this track. Shoma Kato has registered two minor placings when on board. One of the contenders. TOP TARUMAE (9) has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. The engagement of Masayoshi Aoyagi is noteworthy. Can feature in the finish.
