Moderate pace from Alero taking it up with Yam and Adelante on his back. ALERO (1) resumed a dominant winner at the Heath at this level and then missed a whisker at Pakenham, when expected to win. He will be fitter and will race forward again. In the premier stable and the colt rates to bounce back. TIZ TIME (8) peaks off two narrow defeats and his numbers stack right up. She will use the inside gate and is a live chance. YAM (4) seeks the hat trick on a quick back-up. Draws awkwardly but won't have to improve much to feature. IF I WAS YOU (7) found plenty to win a 58 first up and he's improved. Needs a good ride, but fitter he can't be ruled out. ADELANTE (12) will be fitter second-up. Improver.
