First try at this longer trip. Well placed to make a bright return with Lane to steer. PIETANZA (12) faced the starter for the first time and finished eighth last start at Kyoto over 1800m, beaten 6 lengths. Found the line well that day and is expected to be very competitive. DANON JAGUAR (9) was below his best last time when ninth over 1800m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. HO O RAVEN (1) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 7 lengths when sixth over 1800m at Kyoto. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
