FISHERMAN'S BEACH (3) resumes for a leading metro barn and has shown plenty over middle distances, both here and in Ireland. He's jumped out positively 2x at Cranbourne, and despite the time away, he's likely to be ready to go. Suited in Maiden grade, and the betting will be key. SIEGE PERILOUS (5) has hit the line nicely in both starts since a spell so will relish the longer journey. Should be hitting peak fitness now as should USK VALLEY (12) who showed good improvement as runner-up last time and can progress further. SO VOGUE (6) pulled up with an issue at Echuca last time but just missed there prior. Maps well, and the blinkers come off. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fisherman's Beach if the betting suggests stable confidence.
