VOLANTE (2) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish fourth, beaten only 0.9 lengths, over 2400m in stakes class at this track. Expected to run well again. CAFE GRANDE (1) was sent out favourite last time and scored by a neck over today's trip at this track. Has a sound record at this journey with two wins. Definite winning hope. MR G T (3) improved last time out, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 2400m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SIMHANADA (15) resumed with a tidy win over 2000m at this track five weeks ago. Lightly raced and can go onto better things.
