HAWK EYE (6) turned in another sound effort last time but found one better at this track over 1300m, beaten 0.8 lengths to add to a string of placings. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away. Could be hard to stop. MERCURY SEVEN (7) went forward and proved too strong for Hawk Eye last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1300m at this track. In another suitable race and could go back to back. A DOMANI (3) got well back over 1400m at Kasamatsu last time and never threatened, eventually finishing sixth. Placed prior so is capable of better. SATSUKI LEGEND (9) can feature in the finish with a touch of luck.
