Genuine pace with Meisho Tabaru finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged.
REGALEIRA (17) has not raced since she took out the prestigious Arima Kinen over 2500m at Nakayama in December. Progressive mare who is establishing herself as one of the premier Japanese stayers. Clearly the one to beat again. BELLAGIO OPERA (1) returns from a ten-week break. Only raced once last prep and took out the Gr 1 Osaka Hai over 2000m at this track. Unbeaten here in four runs. Was beaten 2.2 lengths by Regaleira in the Arima Kinen so he needs to lift to beat the mare, but he does look the obvious threat. DUREZZA (2) is first-up from a ten-week spell. Finished third in the 2410m Sheema Classic at Dubai at his last run. Unbeaten at this trip so he demands respect. MEISHO TABARU (12) was less than three lengths behind Soul Rush and Romantic Warrior in the Dubai World Cup at his last outing on 5 April. Yet to prove himself at the elite level but does enjoy this trip. Each-way.
