Strong tempo assured from Mermaid and Contento Massimo leading the charge. MELTY CHOCOLAT (8) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 1300m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again. SIULA GRANDE (3) was well in commission last start over 1400m at this track when fourth, beaten 5 lengths. Deserves another chance. CONTENTO MASSIMO (10) showed good speed here last time over 1400m and led into the straight before being claimed and fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths. Sure to be hard to catch. MERMAID (4) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was in contention on the turn before being beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
