Solid tempo expected primarily from Chandon Star and Koondeeman. The speedy OUTTA DE LADY (1) led but couldn't sustain the pressure and finished third last start over 1000m at Tamworth. Should take a sit behind a hot pace today. Nicely placed out to this trip and looks the one to beat despite an awful gate. CHANDON STAR (4) had a six-week let-up and missed the frame for the first time in a while when sixth last time out over 1000m at Tamworth. Better placed over this distance so with added fitness he poses a genuine threat. KOONDEEMAN (5) won a similar race here two starts ago then shouldered 62kgs into third over 1250m at Gunnedah most recently. Freshened up and should be in the finish. TAKEMINE (3) has also been freshened up since failing over 1200m at Tamworth five weeks ago. One to watch for late in proceedings. DOLLY JAYNE (9) has placed at three of five runs over 1100m. In the mix off a one-month lay-off. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Outta De Lady and Chandon Star.
