Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Nation Changing. NATION CHANGING (4) raced handy then was far too good in the concluding stages on debut last start over 1000m at Scone. Beautifully drawn and looks good enough to take this next step. SNATCHREILLY (1) registered his seventh career minor placing, and third from three this prep, when a game second over this course and distance nine days ago. Good weight carrier who just needs luck from a sticky draw to be in the finish again. EL BEATLE (2) found 900m at Wellington a bit sharp last time but he did work home late for third. Major player over the extra furlong. SHARPEN THE KNIVES (5) has placed two from two when fresh so keep her in mind coming off an eighteen-week lay-off. MEDDLESOME (7) also resumes. Yet to miss the placings in five career runs. Expect her to be right there at the business end. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nation Changing can win again.
