BEST BELLE CHIC (4) improved last time out, finishing a neck from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LAND SUR (6) was well fancied last start over 1500m at this track when second, beaten 2.5 lengths. Hattori Daichi stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on three occasions. Best form puts him right in this. KOETSU (7) finished third first-up at this track then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fifth at this track over 1500m when beaten 9 lengths. Will drift back but wind up late. Solid top-three chance. HAKUSAN APPLE (1) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1500m at this track. Can feature in the finish.
