Solid tempo set by Namidano Kiss and Isamu Sanka. ISAMU SANKA (7) is a distance specialist who is coming along nicely this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 1700m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. MY BRAVE (2) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1700m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ILLUMINATOR (6) did a great job to score by 2.5 lengths over today's course and distance when first-up from a spell last start. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. NAMIDANO KISS (5) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and did win first-up last time in work over 2000m at this track. Worth plenty of thought.
