RAYMOND'S REWARD (4) had a seven-week let-up and a change of stables before his last start third over 1100m at this track. Better for that run and the extra distance is ideal. Looks the testing material with the aid of the inside alley. GIRLY POP (7) hit the line with purpose to be beaten under a length when resuming from a three-month spell over 1300m at this venue last time out. Lightly raced filly who can improve enough to take this out. WHEREDACRAWDADSING (10) chalked up his eighth career minor placing when third over this trip at Chinchilla a month ago. Nicely in with 55kgs so at his pet trip poses a genuine threat. NIKODY'S DIEGO (5) has improved out of sight at his last couple, both narrow defeats in heavy going over today's distance. Not sure he can replicate that on firm ground but still an each-way hope. KING'S WARRIOR (2) returns from a 101-day spell as a gelding. Lightly raced and worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
