A solid tempo expected with Dashing Man pressing from an outside draw, joined in the lead by Afro Raidel. AFRO RAIDEL (6) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1400m at this track when fresh from a break. Should camp just off the leaders and best figures should see him run well. FROZEN KISS (3) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths. One to watch for in the closing stages. IKUNO EIGHT NINE (7) is a seven-start maiden who could only manage to finish eighth after being in contention on the corner at her latest appearance over 1600m at this circuit. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. DASHING MAN (12) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led into the straight but faded right out of it, finishing seventh over 1600m at this venue. Among the chances on best form.
