Moderate tempo with Isshin leading the way. WONDER TRIGGER (4) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. LA LA ANCESTRAL (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this circuit, finishing third and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. ISSHIN (5) showed good early dash at the first run after a spell last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 30 lengths away in third over 1400m here. Strips fitter now and is one of the main contenders. RED ACTEUR (3) looked good at the latest effort when fifth over 1400m at this course after being handy for much of the way. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
