Solid tempo from Riko Luger kicking up ahead of You're On Fleek from out wide. YOU'RE ON FLEEK (12) is back at the races for the first time since November 6. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. RIKO LUGER (1) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing half a length away in second over 1600m here. Expected to measure up again. ORTHO SLUGGER (10) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1800m at this course last start. Ryuji Tatsushiro who has scored on him five times retains the mount and is certainly one to consider. SILVINO (6) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1600m at this venue, beaten 0.8 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out.
