Can only be improved. Has a wide gate to overcome but should be in the finish again. ARGYLE SHORE (9) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1400m at this track. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at this track over 1400m. Has ability and is a solid chance. RIPI (8) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Closed last prep with a seventh, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1600m at Chukyo. Capable of playing a big role. QUEEN'S NADESHIKO (11) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 1400m at this track. Has ability and worth including.
