Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. PRESOCRATICS (5) has won at the track both starts since his switch from a top Victorian barn and was heavily bet last time. This is another step-up again, but he gets some weight relief and has been kept on the fresh side for the shorter sprint. The hat-trick beckons. KAI MONDO (3) won here three back and has missed a whisker his last two in decent races. Has a handy 3kg claim today and he is a threat. KING SPIRIT (4) didn't have the best of it at the Sunshine Coast but rates well off the narrow defeat there prior. He also has a 3kg claimer on today and that brings him right into it. PRETTY SLICK (6) resumes and flies fresh. Has a 2kg claim and the blinkers on again. She won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Presocratics.
