Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but expect good early pressure. UNA THE UNICORN (1) showed very good improvement when second over 1250m at Durbanville last time. She took the lead at the 200m mark before getting outrun late. She is a progressive type and can go one better. PARALEGAL (2) showed good speed over this course and distance last time but found one too good on the day. She is coming along the right way and she is one of the leading contenders. LUCKY ONE O NINE (14) is an unraced daughter of Vercingetorix from the Dean Kannemeyer stable with Craig Zackey booked to ride. If not too green in running, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. MARKETA (12) placed at Durbanville on debut and rates a leading player with the benefit of that race experience.
