This much easier grade and has won fresh. Has three wins course and distance. Hard to beat on Grade 1 placing latest. MAGIC SANDS (4) finished eighth over 1600m in the G1 Mile Championship at Kyoto at his most recent appearance on November 23. Drawn for a soft run and will be winding up strongly. TROVATORE (7) is a handy galloper who was 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth when resuming last start over 1600m at Kyoto. Bright prospects. ELTON BAROWS (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in 12th over 2500m at Nakayama. Freshened for this and well back in grade and trip. Can do much better.
