VINCENTIO (2) strode forward early from his wide draw when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m in the G3 Chunichi Shimbun Hai at Chukyo only to fade late and finish ninth. This easier and will take some beating. KING NO JO (5) returned from a break of two months with a solid third last start at this track over 1800m when he was prominent throughout. The extra journey should play into his hands. Among the leading chances. BATTLE BORN (4) is back from a break of 13 months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when eighth over 2200m in the G2 Nikkei Shinshun Hai at Chukyo. Has the speed to be prominent. Excels fresh and has a top record this trip. Among the leading players. SCHILTHORN (12) lines up on the back of a 8 length 11th over 1600m at Nakayama. Better than last start and can give a big sight.
