Moderate tempo with Rose Parade leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. ROSE PARADE (8) finished second when resuming two runs back at this track then progressed nicely last time out to score by one length as favourite over 1500m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to figure in the finish. BRIGHT PHANTOM (10) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a neck over 1500m at this track as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from six starts. Sure to go well again. SYMPATHIQUE (6) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on September 3 over 1500m when she got home by 1.5 lengths. Winning rider Makoto Okabe retains the mount and can feature. HISHI GEKKO (2) was below his best last time when sixth over 1700m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
