GALLIC VICTOR (2) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1600m at Scottsville, finishing 7 lengths back in tenth. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run from an inside alley. Can atone. GRAND APPEAL (8) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track over 1400m when beaten a nose. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. IRELAND FOREVER (6) missed the placings first up recently but was not too far from the winner when sixth over 1400m at Scottsville. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the contenders. DEFINITELY YES (11) did a great job to score by a neck over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
