All In Vain and Step In Time to stride forward and take up the running. STEP IN TIME (9) was given a short break after hitting the frame over 2000m at Kilmore. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial at Traralgon. Serious contender. EPOCH (4) might have had his birthday last start, breaking the maiden at start No 10, but he did it in style after being backed from $4.80 into $3.20, so there's a lot of confidence around the way he's going. IT'S ALL CALM (7) has a horror gate to contend with but hasn't done a lot wrong this campaign, so there's no reason he can't bounce back. SIR ROCKFORD (1) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1800m at Caulfield Heath, beaten 3.5 lengths into 10th. Won't find this as tough so he is likely to play a big role. NILE CROCODILE (5) is also drawn out and while beaten a long way last time, the start prior in 62 grade was good enough for this. Ready for this trip now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Step In Time each way.
