Governare Ricco is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo. TAISEI KAISER (13) wound up strongly last time out to finish half a length adrift in second over 2100m at this track. Tackles an easier assignment this afternoon. Should be taking this out. HAWK LIGHT (8) is back at the races for the first time since March 28. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2100m at this track. Sure to make his presence felt. SHIGERU KAMIKAZE (12) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 25 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 2100m at this track. Each-way claims. FUJI REIMEI (4) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Can fill a top three spot without surprising.
