Moderate pace with La Dulcin'ee taking up the running ahead of Super Wraith and Macee Girl. SUPER WRAITH (3) has needed both of his runs back from a spell, and he is usually very competitive when fit. He is backing up quickly, and he has solid each-way claims here. ANAROA (5) showed a bit of his old form when finishing fourth fresh up at Hawera nearly a fortnight ago. He is a lot sharper second up, and he can finish a lot closer this time. REDANA (8) ran on late when resuming, and her only career win came on this course. Include in all top 4 combos. LA DULCIN'EE (7) had excuses like many others last time out on a very testing track at Hastings 9 days ago. If that run has not taken too much out of her, she is good enough to bounce back into some good form in this field. MACEE GIRL (9) strips fitter second up, and she is open to rapid improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Super Wraith each way.
