Strong tempo assured with Ange Promise, Hishi Islay and Top Attack rolling to the front. TAGANO ARALIA (11) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by half a length last time out over 1400m in a Listed race at this track. Takes on tougher opposition this time but he is up to the challenge. A SHIN DEED (5) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep in the G3 Falcon Stakes at Chukyo over 1400m on March 21. Should be prominent from the outset. Leading contender based on that latest effort. TAMAMO ICARUS (13) is having his first run since March 21. Goes very well when fresh including a win at Listed level over 1200m at Hanshin at the start of last prep. Will be hard to stop. HISHI ISLAY (12) resumes after a break of three months. Hoping for a repeat of his debut win over 1600m at this track to kick off last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
